Biography

I got my BS in Cell and molecular biology – Genetics in 2014 from Tehran Azad university of medical sciences. My undergraduate research projects focused on human single gene diseases under supervision of Dr. Saeid Morovvati in Biogene clinical labratory and Avicenna infertility research center.

Research

As a second year Doctoral student in the Biology department, I am interested in research pertaining to the origin and fate of new genes, their functions and roles in the Drosophila melanogaster’s genome evolution.
